Update using BlackBerry Link
If a new version of the device software is available for
your BlackBerry device, it will be listed in the Settings view in
BlackBerry® Link on your computer. From there, simply click Install Update to update your software.
Update from your smartphone
You can update your BlackBerry smartphone OTA (Over-the-air) without connecting to computer. To get started, on the Home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap Settings > Software Updates. Tap Check for Updates.1
